Christmas is the season when Christians rejoice in the birth of Jesus Christ. He came into the world to save us from our sins and to reign as our eternal King.

The Bible says:

God so loved the world,
that he gave his only Son,
that whoever believes in him
should not perish but have eternal life.

(John 3:16)

Join us this Christmas as we celebrate his coming!

Christianity Explored is a course that helps you to explore who the God of the Bible is and what he says about life’s meaning and purpose.

We invite you to join us for 7 Sundays, 2-4pm, starting 4 January 2026. A simple complimentary lunch is provided at 1.30pm. The course will be held in the Old Office (GF2) at St Mary’s Cathedral.

If you are not able to join us in person at St Mary’s Cathedral, you can also attend the course online on Wednesday nights from 8–10pm.

This course is free of charge.

For more information or to register, please visit stmarys.my/findoutmore.

Carparking as of 24th December 2025

1. Dataran Merdeka Car Park is closed tonight (24th December) as they have no power and so the car park will be very dark and unsafe. The Car Park will open again tomorrow morning at dawn.

2. This closure will affect our Christmas Eve services. Christmas Morning services will not be affected. However, our Christmas Evening service (5pm) will also be affected as the car park will be in the same condition tomorrow.

3. The Cathedral Car Park will be open to all without restriction on Christmas Eve and Christmas Evening until it is full. Once it is full, people who come will need to find parking elsewhere.

4. Apart from roadside parking which is very limited, the best alternative place to park is Dayabumi (Dayabumi Complex Parking Link). There is a 24-hour car park there. Once you have parked and gone up to the ground level, please look for the Dataran Merdeka exit to give you the shortest walk to the Cathedral. After the service on Christmas Eve, please wait in the Tea Terrace for arrangements to walk back to Dayabumi in groups.

5. Parking arrangements on Christmas Morning is as per normal as the Dataran Car Park will be open.

Please pray with us that this setback does not deter people from celebrating the coming of Christ with God’s people here at St Mary’s even if they decide to change plans about which service to attend.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a joyful celebration of the coming of the Saviour.
